Balms Abogados takes part in the Real Estate Exhibition in Stockholm

The successful Buying Properties Abroad exhibitions in Northern Europe are organized by Fair Media International. During the last 8 years the company has staged nearly 60 exhibitions, an important market place for exhibitors from all over the world who want to market their properties to buyers in Sweden, Norway and Finland.

The exhibitions are a market place for exhibitors from the whole world who want to get in contact with qualified buyers. Our exhibitors come from over 20 different countries and are made up by agents, constructors and land owners plus other companies related to the business. We arrange different seminars that are all free for the public. Normally they treat different popular destinations where Scandinavians buy properties but also specific seminars such as how to live, work or retire in individual countries for example Spain, as well as on subjects such as tax implications and legal issues when moving abroad, mortgages for properties overseas and cross cultural communication.

Fair Media International offers the exhibitors an unrivalled opportunity to meet a large, affluent audience of Nordic consumers looking for a property abroad. Fair Media´s exhibitions attract between 2,000 and 6,000 visitors at each show. Our visitors are searching for investment opportunities, holiday homes and permanent residences abroad.

During the last years, Balms Abogados has been to the Fair together with the Real Estate Agency Wasa. The Stockholm fair this year has taken place during the 17th and 18th of September with a great affluence of visitors.

Fair Media International arranged the first exhibition for buying properties in Spain at the World Trade Centre, WTC, in the Swedish capital of Stockholm in October 2003. This first and relatively small exhibition attracted 1.500 visitors and proved to be a great success for the 14 exhibitors.

The interest among professionals in the international property market grew rapidly. Fair Media International therefore invited exhibitors from all over the world to participate in the autumn exhibition of 2004, now under the name of "Buying Properties Abroad". By Autumn 2005, the exhibitions had grown to such an extent, that there was a need to move to a larger exhibition hall and Globen Annexet has been the home ever since for the twice annual exhibitions in Stockholm, the flag ship and the largest of Fair Medias exhibitions, Buying Properties Abroad.
