Due to their extensive experience and high level of expertise, the professionals of Balms Abogados collaborate with various Business Schools and Universities, teaching in various disciplines. This activity is considered vital for the Firm, as it not only helps to consolidate our national and international presence, but it also enables us to communicate with young professionals who end up joining our firms.
Among the most recent collaborations is the one with Manchester Business School, The University of Manchester, where our international network, BGI, was used as a case study in the workshop on Selling Strategies, which was held in Sao Paulo, as part of their MBA program. Likewise, many of the firm’s lawyers regularly give classes on different subjects at the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE) in Madrid; for example, we provided the case studies for the Masters in Private International Law.
The training provided by BALMS ABOGADOS must also be mentioned here. Every year they hold various seminars and working breakfasts for professionals. Among these are the working breakfast sessions on the latest fiscal and employment reforms, which were held in 2012 and were very well received by professionals in the real estate sector.
