The Balms Foundation for Children is a non-profit organization. Our priority objective is to develop activities that promote the protection of children's rights, under the terms set forth in the International Convention on Child Protection, signed by the United Nations in The Hague in 1993, and especially the Right of all boys and girls to: 'Grow up in a family that provides them affection, security and basic care' (Convention on the Rights of the Child, UN, November 20, 1989).
It is also a priority to carry out activities related to the principles and objectives of International Development Cooperation, according to the condition specified in Law 23/1998, of July 7, on International Development Cooperation.
